About Me.
I enjoy spending time with family and friends. I actively participate in many outdoor activities such as white water rafting, kayaking, swimming, diving, paddleboarding, zorbing, hiking, and camping. I love to read science fiction, fantasy, action-adventure, and historical fiction novels. I have many pets including one dog, a cat, a box turtle, and a tank full of fish.
I am originally from Michigan and did some undergraduate work at Michigan State University, where I majored in Astrophysics. I completed my Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education at Columbia College and my Master of Education Degree at Southern Wesleyan University. I am certified in Secondary Science and have a Gifted and Talented Endorsement.
